comment Can we ask questions related to banana pi here?
@AaronF Yes, they are still off-topic. Depending on the question they may be appropriate on EE, StackOverflow, Linux, and Unix among others, however, there may not be a StackExchange site where your question is appropriate. That is one of the things that sets the Raspberry Pi apart. It has a large active and vibrant community while most of the others have sales volumes several orders of magnitude less than the RPi and hence can not support such a community.

comment Can I ask questions regarding Adafruit here?
Adafruit has very good forums and that may be a better place to ask your question.

comment How useful are circuit diagrams and pictures to answering questions?
I think pictures are very relevenat/helpful even mors so than a diagram. To paraphrase @joan a diagram shows what is supposed to be a picture shows what is. Several times a picture has helped diagnose a reversed ribbon cable or a breadboard power rail that was split in half in the middle of the board, In general a picture can help identify whether the fault lies in hardware or softweare.

@MR.Mastel I will still be around, I don't plan to leave the site just need a little break I have been here since private beta and seeing the site through graduation and a second successful election has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. It was nice to see an election where fake news was not mentioned.

comment how to reduce image from 16GB SD card to fit on 8 GB card
As I was the mod who deleted your post and to add to what @goldilocks has said above. One of the reasons for deleting questions added to the answer section is to help you. As this is a Q&A site and not a forum. Most users don't tend to read through entire threads or the portion thereof since their last visit. As a result a question placed in the answer section may never be seen by someone who could actually answer your question, and hence linger unanswered. This would not only affect you, but anyone with a similar query looking for an answer, who found your question by search engine etc.
